Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My boyfriend and I broke up but we have a six month old baby. His family who has only seen him 3 times think that I should let them have him for labor day weekend. Most of them refuse to speak English and that is the language at my house.there is no visitation or child support set up. What should I do?

If you are not married and paternity has not ben legally established, time-sharing /visitation is at your discretion. If you do not feel comfortable letting your son go there for a whole weekend, you have the right to not allow it.

It is probably in your best interests long-term to get child support and paternity established through the courts so that you both know what your rights and responsibilities are with respect to your son.
