child custody

my child is being kept from me by his paternal grandparents in South Carolina and I live in Florida, his father lives in South Carolina as well and we are still married but I want to bring my son to Florida to live with me and my other son also from the same marriage, can they keep him from me?

If your child has lived the past six months in South Carolina, and there has never been a custody order from any state, any lawsuit (divorce) involving your child, will need to be filed in South Carolina. Florida can give you a divorce (assuming you have lived here for six months), but cannot make any orders concerning you child.
