Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My child support should have ended May 2016, in 2009 Lake County realized the service I was paying was going straight to the Mother, hence giving me a large credit in the eyes of Tallahassee for almost 10 years. I continued to pay child support straight to Tallahassee support until Dec 2015 when they sent me a check and stated the case is paid in full and closed. My ex-wife is furious and demands payment and is filing a Petition for Judicial Review to receive payments from Dec 2015 to May 2016, even though she was paid in advance. Will I have to pay 6 months of child support? Will this require going back to court? I contacted a lawyer but wanted to know my options.

Not enough information to make a response. Safest is to see an attorney and have all paperwork reviewed. Impossible to say whether youhave to go before a Judge.
