Child Support
I pay $800.00 a month in child support for one child and have last my job several months ago. I am having a hard time finding a job, have borrowed some of my 401K money to live on and still paying child support and are current. I need to get my child support reduced until I can find a job, how do I go about getting this done without having to put a lot of money out to an attorney? Please Help!!

You need to file a Supplemental Petition for Modification and have your wife served the Petition along with a Summons.
Most courts have self-help forms to obtain a Modification of Child Support. You should check with the Clerk of Courts in your area.You may also want to contact the Bar Association in your area. Many Associations have a low cost panel of attorneys.
