Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

custody

My ex and I are fighting for custody of our daughter. My grandmother and father both recently passed. She thinks they both left wills and had money. They did not have wills and left no money. How do I prove that there is nothing?

Re: custody

You can't prove a negative. It's up to him to prove that there were wills and money. Anyway, you need a good lawyer, who will tell you that inheritance is generally not divided as part of a divorce, whether there is a will or not.

In other words, wills or not, he doesn't get any of it.
