Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My daughter's father was not on the original birth certificate as he was not at the hospital when she was born. He requested to have his name on her birth certificate. We filed the paperwork and paid the fee and the only thing missing is a copy of his ID. He has not been responsive in providing the information needed to have the name change. I found out that it could be because he secretly married a woman in April who lives in GA for his greencard and was fully intending on living with us in FL without disclosing this information. I was wondering if I can just request her original birth certificate and just cut her out of her life for good without legal ramifications.

It would be more prudent for you to file for full custody. I suggest you file the paternity suit against him so that you can at least get child support - if not from him- then from the Dept. of Revenue - Child Support Enforcement Division. You can have her covered under Medicaid and receive state aid. If he married just to get to stay in the U.S., you may want to contact INS for immigration fraud. He would be deported but still liable for child support if you can collect it.
