Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am a divorced female, I was awarded 1/2 of my ex-husbands retirement with the State of Florida as he is a Deputy Sheriff. The QDRO has already been approved by the state, opposing council, the Judge and has been sent back to state. Additionally, the marriage has already been dissolved with the parameters of the dissemination of the monies outlined in the final judgement. Once a QDRO is received by the state with the Judge's final review and approval how long does it take to disperse the funds to me (the non-participating party)? Thank you!

It depends on how it was written. Most qudro do not distribute the money to you until retirement age they just open up an account for you and transfer your share of the money into it.
