Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Establish Paternity

My husband and I are going to FL to do a paternity test on one of 3 children he pays child support on. The third child we believe is not his. He has partial custody of this child can he get a DNA swap from the child (she is 16) without the mother's permission? The mother is not going to like her child support being reduced and will probably try to cause problems and call the police. Can we tell the police this and ask them to come with us?

Re: Establish Paternity

His third child is 16 yrs old and he now wants to terminate child support. What would that do to the 16 year old. If he was married at the time the child was born he is the legal father at the very least. Maybe he should confer with a family law attorney in the county where the child lives.
