Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My exboyfriend is reciveing help from a legal assistant

My exboyfriend is taking me to court for visitation with my son. He has been dating a legal assistant that has been helping through this whole case. I thought this was illegal? Do you know if I am right? and if so, How do I go about pressing charges or whatever needs to be done?

If you do not agree, then stop right here, and do not read any further.

There is no law against someone helping another even if not licensed. The friend simply cannot perform as an attorney and practice law without being licensed. There is often a fine line between helping someone and practicing law. If she is practicing law, you can file a complaint with the Florida Bar's UPL (unauthorized practice of law) division.
