Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

How can I file for child custody? My children were living in a motel with 11 people and i recently opened a parenting plan case and she was served with court papers at the motel 2 weeks ago. she quickly moved in a 690 square feet condo with the kids and they have been in 3 different schools since August 2012. Kids are in an unstable environment and poor living conditions. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

You must bring a petition for primary residence with you.

You can file a Petition for Custody, Child support and Visitation. Ask for the Dept of Children and Family Services to do an investigation. Ask the court for a guardian ad litem for the children, Get reports from the teachers of the children as to how they are doing in school. find out who the physicians are and what there medical needs have been in the past and will be in the future. YOu need to have your evidence at the time of the hearing. Get info from the hotel they were staying in - get pictures of all the people who were in the room with them. What is their background. I suggest you get an attorney as there are no do overs and there is a lot you need to do to win.
