what visitation rights do grandparents have ?

In Florida the answer is unfortunately, absolutely none. Our Supreme Court completely did away with all grandparents' rights a few years back.

For the most part, grandparents have few, if any, visitation rights with a grandchild. The court can change that, however, when the court determines that it is in the best interests of the child. A parent's right to raise a child are primary to that of the grandparents.
