Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I tried to get my house in my name after a divorce, and couldn't. I lived and paid the mortgage for over a year, in end it went to a short sale. Ex-wife got a lawyer and he never represented me, never signed any papers, and never had any contact with him. Once she found out we were getting refund, of 1500, she wanted half. Because both of our names were on the check I agreed, and was planning to use my 750, to finish paying her off for her student loans that I had to re-pay. I have done everything the court has ordered, and now she is insisting that the 750, was for her attorney. Would any judge see it her way, i have no money, and she keeps threatening me with legal action.

So go explain it to a judge. It is hard to say who "wins" with a lot more facts. Always better to try to work it out.
