Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

my husband found out that interest is going to be owed on back child support that he has been paying on for several years and has not missed a payment. The interest owed is very large and the ex-wife agrees that it is un-fair and would sign an agreement saying that she doesnt want it and would like him released from it. Will the court honnor there wishes or force the payments? The amount is almost 50,000 ...We barely get by as it is and he is almost 63 years old...

Yes, back child support payments are negotiable. The Court may have some questions but normally I haven't seen many problems arise when it comes to cutting the back support amounts in the interest of settling matters.
