Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Is a judge able to override the reduced child support rule "just because?" How do I go about getting it changed ? Do I sign the final order from the court precedings?

I'm assuming you mean the "40% overnight grosse-up rule." Judges can do anything within the law. If the judge has acted outside the law, you can appeal. Technically, if a person has at least 40% of the overnights in a year, the judge must use the reduced child support number.
