Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I live in Florida and just recently some family issues came up with my parents (mother and adopted step father). I have a 2 year old son, who adores the grandparents, and I am conflicted as to whether if I should continue to let him visit them during the week while I study for college or cut off ties. If I do, are the grandparents entitled to rights to him? Can they take my son away by suing me for rights? I am just wondering. (I'm a paralegal and am vague in the knowledge of family law as my experience is in litigation real estate)
