Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I live in Florida, and had a standard child custody agreement (T, TH evenings, every other weekend) I pay child support for my 2 children. One is 13, and the other one turned 18 in Oct. 2012 and is now in college. My divorce states that I must pay child support until the children turn 18. Does this mean I pay for BOTH children until the youngest turns 18, or just divide the support in half because the older son is past that age?

Unless the order says to divide in half then you have to petition the court to recalculate the support for just the one child.

You will need to Petition the court to recalculate child support based on the fact one of the children is turning eighteen. Best wishes.

Your best course of action will be to file a Supplemental Petition to modify the child support amount. The child support amount for one child is usually more than 50% of the amount for two children.
