Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

If a man sign a birth certificate and he knows he is not the biological father could he get in trouble I am wanting to know is it against the law and the mother and the non biological father are no longer together and she moved back to new york and is wanting to go after the biological father

It's not illegal for the man to sign the birth certificate, it just presumptively obligates him to child support.

This is not illegal in Florida. Fathers sign certificates all the time and are later proved not to be the biological Father. I do not know if this is an issue in New York.

once you sign an acknowledgement of paternity it is almost impossible to get out of it so that would be a huge mistake.
