Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Marriage requirements

I wanted to know what the requirements for getting married in Florida were. What is the waiting period? Do you need witnesses? Those sorts of pre-maritial requirements. what are they? I plan on going down there for a trip and would like to elope if possible. Thank you for your time.

Re: Marriage requirements

Couple intending to marry must be at least 18, one male and one female, provide SS #, wait 3 days unless they have completed the "premarital counseling course" and provide other information re address, etc. Two witnesses are required; may be married by a Clerk of Court, notary, ministers, others.
