Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Married 23 yrs. Four children. Three still at home-2 are minors. Husband stopped support, mortgage etc in 2010. Filed child support with DOR. He vacated home. Since, my kids and I lived in the impending foreclosure family home til 2012. Husband rented a comparable home. After 2 yrs, defaulted on rent, we were evicted. He then rented an apartment for the children and now refuses to pay the rent as agreed. I have to pay out of child support and it's minimal. Husband owns two successful businesses. Can't prove income. Can't afford legal retainer to divorce for alimony and settlement of my share. No pro bonos. Question: Can husband be sued or what legal action to get my share of what business is worth, half assets of company. Both businesses are LLC but he is guarantor.

Robert McCall Law Office of Robert McCall

You must get an attorney. Possible alternative is to contact your county Legal Aid office; usually if minor kids are involved they will represent Mom in a divorce.
