Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

want to move to Az

In May, my ex-boyfriend and I signed papers re: the paternity and custody of our son; which at the time we were in agreement. He filed the papers but as of yet we have not gone to court or had a final judgement on. I am no longer in agreement with the shared custody plan and would like to move out of state (to AZ) but had previously stated in our agreement that I would not move outside of 60 miles. Am I able to do so without finalizing the papers? I have talked to my ex about it but he ''forbids'' me in doing so. I am not opposed to him seeing his son and letting him have the baby 3 months out of the year. Can I go to AZ and file my own papers for custody?

Re: want to move to Az

I suggest you contact the court immediately and advise of your change of position on these issues.

Until the court rules it would be premature to move since the court may require you to come back.
