Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

If I have a nolle pros comp on my record, can I have my record sealed or expunged. If I can, would I be able to return to the military. The recruiter is telling me that since I went through Domestic Violence classes, that I was convicted. Which I know that I wasn't. What should I do? I want to return to the military and finish out my time.

As long as the Nolle Prosequi (Noll Pros) was filed, that the charge was dismissed and you were not convicted. I suspect you completed a Pretrial Diversion program, which is what caused you to complete the classes. (Florida Domestic Violence Defense)

So your recruiter is incorrect, and has misinterpreted the effect of your classes. So yes, you can get your record expunged (assuming you otherwise qualify), but you do not really need to do so because you were never convicted of it. (Florida Sealing and Expungement)
