paternity testing

my ex-just recently had a baby girl she is denying that the child is mine and going to give her up for adoption i have filled with the putuitve fathers registy the nest logical step in my mind would be to file a motion for paternity with the court's now that the child is born is this the correct step to take next also since she is denying i am the father from the get go but say's she doesn't know who the father is am i just wasting my time only to have the court's through the case out as soon as we get into the court room

Is the baby in Florida or Ohio? Either way you should talk directly to an attorney as soon as possible! You do have rights that should be protected.

Did she arrange for adoption while she was still pregnant or is this a decision that she just made recently? Is human services or Welfare invloved? Your only choice here is to hire an attorney-If you are seriously interested in being this Kids dad you will need to act quickly or you may regret it for a long time!
