Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I had a protection order place against me. I was ordered to attend anger management course and return to court on a specific date. I missed the court date and was issued a writ against me. The protection order was removed but I still have to go to court for the writ to be removed. I have not taken the classes. Will I be arrested when I return to court and should I have a Lawyer with me.

You should retain a lawyer as you may be arrested. However, you are not obligated to and can represent yourself. For a free consultation, please contact my office at 904-371-3538 or email me at [email protected].

I suggest you sign up for the anger management course and have that infor with you. Then explain why you did not follow the court's order - you may get a second chance if you really are humble and your reason acceptable.
