Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My ex has a scheduled visitation over spring break. She lives in Florida - our two daughters and I live in Kansas. My ex agreed to our moving in exchange for her not paying child support. She wants to take the girls to Arizona over spring break but both girls have mandatory events in their sports clubs ( organizations that my ex has agreed to them taking part in and has paid for) during that time. I have offered for her to come to KS and participate in the girls' events or I have offered her an additional 5 days to her summer visitation. She has refused to respond or attempt to come to a compromise.

If the order says she gets spring break then she gets spring break. The kids sports event come second, although she will be perceived as the bad guy. Contact my office for free consultation.

Most Judges say the children have the same rights as a dog or cat. Time sharing is currently viewed as the most important element regardless of what the children want or have plans to do. Kids go with Mom who may become the bad guy to the children.
