Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
my sister is mentally unstable. She has a 9 year old daughter. She believes somebody is trying to kill my niece there fore she takes her out of school and home school her for a while, then puts her back in a different school, until again somebody "is trying to kill my niece again", she home schools her and then puts her back in a different school, etc. She has done this 3 times. Is there something the family can do to prevent her from doing this? Needless to say, she does not believe there is anything wrong with her, she is doing the best for her daughter, we do not understand the danger my niece is in. I am also very surprised the board of Education does not see a pattern and sends somebody to the house. Should the school be doing something? Should I call the school? I do not want my niece to be taken away and put in a foster home not even for a day. There are enough family members that are willing to take her in.
