Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Ok my sons father has been out of the picture since i was 3 months pregnant. My son is now 7 months old. I filed for child support and when dna results came back his father decided he wanted joint custody without going into court..Now he is wanting to file for sole custody. Is there anyway he can get custody of my son if he hasnt been around and isnt on the birth certificate?

The birth certificate isn't relevant, but the fact that he hasn't been around for four months will help your case. He won't get sole custody without very strong evidence of you being a "bad mom." He may be able to get primary custody, though. I can't tell becuase I don't know enough about your case.
