Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am a woman 43 yrs old and is planning to get married. My spouse to be has agreed to sign a prenup. but how secure are they? I bought a house back in 2003 way before I knew he exsited. Can he take it from me if we should ever seperate if he help me make any kind of home improvements?

Prenuptial agreements are very enforceable in divorces in Florida, especially if he's had the opportunity to contact a lawyer and discuss it before he signs and he's had plenty of time to contemplate the agreement (at least a few weeks, but a few months is better), before the wedding.
