Banking Records

I received copy of a subpoena from my bank the my records are going to be turned over. I am not involved in the law suit. How can I stop my bank records from being turned over and how can my bank records be subpoena when I have not interest in the case?

Re: Banking Records

I'd probably start by notifying the bank that you will look into violation of the privacy laws if they allow the records to be released. You may have to go into court to quash the subpoena. It's a lot easier to do this with a lawyer that knows what he or she is doing than doing htis yourself. William S. Stern
