Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

My boyfriend proposed to me in front of my entire family and about 20 friends on Thanksgiving. He gave me a 2 carat diamond ring. I told him "yes" at that momemt. 2 weeks later he moved out in the middle of the night with all his things including taking the ring. I was unaware this were to happen, as far as I knew we were to be married in 9 months. Can I sue him for the value of the ring or sue him to get the ring back?

No. An engagement ring is a gift in contemplation of marriage. The engagement ring is not yours to keep until after you actually get married.
