Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I am an US citizen with real state investments in Brazil. Are those proprties subject to lawsuits from US claimers ?

Most countries will enforce judgments from the courts of other countries. Whether and how a particular American judgment could be enforced in Brazil will depend upon that country's laws. The judgment creditor would probably have to hire a lawyer in Brazil, but if the judgment is large enough and your properties are valuable enough then it would make sense for him to do this.
