Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

False Accusations from Friends ex-Roommates

BRIEF:

*I've been accused of threatening

my friends ex-roommates.

*I video taped the whole incident

*There are small portions of the

footage missing due to me bumping

my phone

BODY:

Last night I helped a friend move

out from her apartment. As we

attempted to move her belongings

two of her three roommates

continually impeded us. (I.E.

barricading the exit(with tables),

locking the door every time we left,

etc.) None of this was two serious

but as a precaution I video taped

the whole incident.

This morning as I arrived at the

apartment complex to help my

friend un-pack I was instructed not

to leave my vehicle. Apparently the

two other roommates told the

manager of the apartment that I

threatened to ''smash their faces

into the wall.'' On the contrary I

have footage of them threatening

to ''put my face to the floor.''

At this point I really do not know

what to do. I have been told that if

I'm seen on the premise they will

call the police. I have a video tape

of the incident but there are small

gaps in the footage due to me

bumping my phone. I know many

people in the area who can give

testimony of my character including

one of the roommates.
