Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

New husband has Judgements

My future husband has judgemtns totaling close to 1 million dollars from his ex wife--he is judgment free; However, I have a home in my soley in my name with lots of equity and a free and clear car. BY marrying him will my assets be in jeopardy and become joint? Will the ex wife be able to attach my assets and bring me into this mess! If so how can I protect myself?
