Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

What kind of lawyer do I need?

My husband and I own a small engineering/manufacturing business. We maintain a office in our home. The actual work takes place off site at contractor's locations. Having a home office is allowed in our subdivision, city, county and state. However a neighbor does not want us there. He does not like us personally. He has attacked our business. He has filed many false complaints to every agency he can to try to get us to move or close our home office. So far, no agency has found anything wrong with what we are doing. It's got to the point of harassment. He's virtually stalking us. He's spreading lies and false claims on a daily basis. It's affecting us personally as weel as our business. What can we do? We thought about sueing him, but are not sure what sort of attorney to contact.

You can sue him for defamation and interference with business.

Mr. Stewart is correct and it sounds like you should before this goes any farther.
