Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

My Sister was involved in a lawsuit against Alachua County Juvenile Detention Center ( in Florida)involving her son. A quard there broke her minor (at that time) sons leg in 3 places. The attorney there said it was a Cival suit and it could take some time to settle. During the following year she moved back to St.Augustine Florida. She does not remember the Attorneys name nor does she know the outcome of the of the suit. How would she go about finding out?
