Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

My truck was taken in the middle of the night by the co-signer without my knowledge. I paid the down payment and payments on it for a year. I was the only person paying on the vehicle. She refuses to give the truck back and she won't refinance it either to take my name off of it, and now I can't get a loan for a new vehicle. I want what I paid for the vehicle over the last year.
