Legal Question in Health Care Law in Florida

traumatic brain injury

My son was injured on a motorcycle and is unable to make any type of responce right now. His mortgage and other monthly bills are due. What do I haave to do to act in his behalf. He left no power of attorney or anything in writing. My son is 27 and no one will help me without me having authority to act on his behalf.

Thank You

Re: traumatic brain injury

The answer could depend on a couple of factors, including the prognosis for your son. If you have the information related to his creditors you can try to contact them and least let them know of the situation.

It may be necessary to get the court to appoint a guardian to act on his behalf.

Please call my office on Monday, and I will be happy to discuss your options with you.
