Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida

accident

In 1985 I was involved in an accident. I rear ended a car with two people inside. Nobody was transported to the hospital, The driver drove his vehicle himself to the hospital claiming no injuryat the time, but his wife had complaints of a seat belt hurting her shoulder. I was ticketed for following too closely. Officer said he had to ticket me for something. This was caused by a UPS driver who on a major road parked in the right lane, at the First House Past

an intersection (with a Stop light). When he passed through the light (green) he stopped, traffic was traveling the speed limit 40mph. there were three cars ahead of me all of which were braking heavily. I really was not too close. This road had been paved within 1 week and

all the cars ahead of me were stopping IN the intersection and making evasive maneuvers. My insurance and his insurance have paid, now three years later, some insurance company is attempting to sue me for 35,000 dollars. What are my options

Re: accident

Contact your insurance company and contact your lawyer (whoever represented you in the claim) to see what is going on. It sounds like they have waited too long and the statute of limitations has expired -- but it would depend on the facts.
