Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida

car insurance

wewant to buy a car for daughter a student 161/2. should we put car in our name with insurance add on to ours. or should we put car in her name with her own insurance. we want to protect our assets and our retirement money both liquid and assets from unfortunate tragic accidnet and being sued. which way should protect us legally to not be responmsible and protect our assets for being sued?? we want her to have a car but we are afriad.

I think I already answered, but limiting liability for an individual residing in the same home is virtually impossible. If she has her own insurance it would be better. Not a perfect situation though. As long as you do not apoper in the vehicle as an owner or the insurance you should be OK.
