Collecting on water damage

My winter home in Naples Fl, recieved water damage from a leaking pipe in the bathroom, and was not noticed before it did damage to floors walls and carpet. The adjuster, is also a contractor, who want's to do the work. How can I collect the money for the damage, without haveing to use his company to repair my house.

You should contact the person at your insurance company who is handling this claim. You can use who ever you choose to make these repairs. While you may have to show that these repairs were actualy done, you should not be forced to use the adjuster.
