Legal Question in Insurance Law in Florida

guns in the workplace

My employer has no written policy against his employees' right to carry a concealed weapon on his property (retail business) with the proper license (I'm a concealed weapons permit holder). Are there any liability restrictions as far as his insurance is concerned, or are there any legal restrictions my employer and I are not aware of? Thank you!

It would be rare for an employer to allow employees to carry guns and would open up all kinds of liability issues and could potentially void liability insurance that may otherwise be in place.
