Heir Property

a decimal was inadvertenly left out, arthorizing an heir to build on 3.5 acres of land. Does he now have 35 acres of land? Seven heirs signed assuming they were giving him 3.5 acres, but when it was filed it read 35 acres. Now his daughter claims 35 acres of land.

Re: Heir Property

He's probably only entitled to 3.5 acres if this is just a scivenor's error that slipped through the cracks. These can be difficult to undue depending on the facts, so please consult and retain an attorney right away. do not delay as that may affect your rights as well.
