can i evict an abusive man out of my moms house?

I live with my mom for over 10 years and i run my business out of my moms home she has a dead beat boyfriend who beats her and it is a real bad hostile place as her son i hate the fact that he is here is there anything that i can do to send this man packing? she wont do anything out of fear can i help her as he states things to me and her that makes this a very bad situation PLEASE HELP!

Only if you are the owner of the house. Otherwise, mom would have to file for the eviction.

On the other hand, if he is making threatening statements, you can file for a stay away order or writ of injunction. This would prohibit him from coming back to the home for at least a short time until a permanent order was entered by the court. Of course, you may upset mom if she is not in full agreement with your actions.
