Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

fine without physical proof

Is it possible for my homeowners association to fine me for parking in the wrong parking space, even though I have not? I have asked them to show me proof, and they can not but are still going to fine me. I have written letters to them and spoken to them in person, as well as asked them to watch where I park to show them I am not the fellon. They refuse and are still going to fine me without having physical proof on me, just heresay. Is that legal?

Homeowners Associations do not have to have physical proof of a violation in order to fine a member. You can challange their findings, however, by asking for a hearing under the appeal process set forth in your Association documents.
