Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

Landlord/management unnotified entry

We have been renting this appartment for about two and a half years. We had a lease for the first year but since then have been renting month to month. We have always paid rent on time and are a quite family.Recently someone tried to break into our appartment so we changed the damaged locks. We have never met the owner but have been dealing with his son-in-law(manager)as far as paying rent etc.and notified him of the attempted break-in.When he noticed that the locks had been changed he tried his key to open our door while we were home without knocking.I've been aware of him entering other tenants apts.previously and just walking in unnotified. He has asked for a key to the new locks. My question is:1.Could I be evicted if I don't give him a key? 2.Is it legal for the landlord/management to enter my appartment without prior notification?I appreciatly await your responce.
