Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

I live in Pensacola, FL, my landlord and I made a verbal agreement that if my disability claim is won that I would pay all my back rent, and if I didn't I would move. Can he sue me for the back rent if I don't win my case.

Yes he can. You have nothing in writing. Why would you make such a deal? Do you have a witness to that converstion or any evidence of this that someone would come to court and testify that they have knowledge of? Sadly these are the mistakes of life.
