manager owner conflict

mgr.billed me excessively. i refused to pay. she got lawyer.threatened me and after i paid bill she billed me for lawyers fees is this legal? can i get fee back?

It depends on what the basis for the bill is and how you paid. Typically, when you pay after a dispute that involves the legal process, you get a release. If she released you, the dispute is over. If there is no release and you just paid, you need to look at the nature of the bill itself. Some contracts contain a clause that says if litigation is required when someone does not pay a bill, then the losing party must pay the fees of the other party. You need to find out what the asserted basis for the legal bill is.
