Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

Selling our home

I have lived in the same home for six years. My landlord has now sold my home. We have a lease, but she has not given me a copy of it. She is only giving me two months to find a new place. I have 2 kids and a fiance. What are my rights?? The rental rates in my area are WAY above what I am used to paying and I do not have adequate time to save for down payments, etc!

Unless the lease has a provision requiring you to move, you do not have to. If her deal is contingent on your removal perhaps she can buy you out. Good luck.
