Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

Car accident

I was working in North Carolina (i live in Florida) on business and was in a car accident. My coworker was driving and he caused the accident by crossing 2 lanes of traffic trying to make a right turn from a left turn lane. As a result I have neck and back injuries and headaches alot. Workers comp is paying for all the dr. appts but I'm not able to travel for my job and we receive bonus for traveling. I'm missing 3 or more weeks of these bonus. Am I entited to sue my coworker due to his poor driving to make up for the money I lose?
