Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

I feel I'm being pushed to sign a closing agreement with the insurance company behind the man who was at fault in my husbands motorcycle accident, the lawyer says my husband told him to close the deal and to get what he can and my husband says he didn't say that he told him to get what he could but I have to talk to my wife first but the lawyer closed the deal with the insurance company and he is now tell us there is nothing more to do but sign and put this all behind us I don't agree I wanted to go see another Dr. and he said it wouldn't make a difference the case is closed and there is no more money we can get, we have not signed these papers to close this case because I'm not comfortable with it, there is something more wrong with my husbands knee but he doesn't seem to care he says if there was anything he could do he would but I don't believe this case should be closed yet The lawyer has had these papers for us to sign for about 2 to3 weeks with the check. I took my husband to another Dr. anyway a neurologist and yes he does have nerve damage in that leg but again the lawyer is telling me there is nothing more that we can do the case is settled he just wants us to sign I'm still not comfortable and I have asked other lawyers just questions and they went running back to my laywer and told him I was looking for another lawyer I told him no I wasn't I was just asking questions because of the way he's been and what he's been telling me I don't believe this case is settled I have to look out for my husband who is living with this sharp pain in his left knee all the time and everyday, The lawyer told me that we don't have much time with there offer that the insurance company could pull it or because the case is supposedly settled it could be given to the judge to either make us sign or throw the whole thing out that we would be heading into more headaches than we can handle I need some help and I don't know were to go ,were someone isn't going to go running back to my lawyer and make him mad , the other problem I have is he was refered to us by the Dr. office who we went to to see the first Dr. in rehab who also set us up with the surgeon I don't know what to do my husband deserves the best and for the medical bills to be paid his bike fixed and some compensation for all his pain and suffering and to have some money to put aside incase he ends up with more problems with his knee and leg down the line I'm am just so stressed over this whole mess I can't sleep well at night I thought lawyers where supposed to reduce a persons stress
