Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

Fell outside of a store...what can I do?

Even though the store itself would have nothing to do with it, wouldn't the property managers? I hurt myself pretty bad during the graceful landing but I haven't made any type of report. The store manager and another employee did witness this and I do have their names as well as I went by and took some pictures where I fell at. There is a piece of the curb where I was walking down from that is broken....someone help!

You should not rely on or take action based on this communication without first presenting ALL relevant details to a competent attorney in your jurisdiction and then receiving the attorney's individualized advice for you. Depending on the injury, you may have a claim against the owners of the property or the tenant. A person has a responsibility to take necessary precautions when they walk and avoid the possibility of injury. Contributory negligence, if any, will be a factor. Generally, unless the injury is severe, the money damages are minimal.

Re: Fell outside of a store...what can I do?

Contact an attorney. If the store or the property owner knew or should have known of a dangferous condition and that condition caused you to fall, they may be liable. They must be negligent, though. Just because you fall does not mean that the owner is responsible for your injuries.
